How do I become a customer?

To become a customer of Norsk Lastbærer Pool, we want you to read the agreement form, contract terms and our rules first. Once that’s done you sign a customer agreement and send it to us.

Who can rent plastic crates?

NLP’s products are primarily designed for the grocery industry. This means that both suppliers, wholesalers and grocery stores benefit from the pooling system and our products.

Who can rent plastic pallets?

NLP was created to solve challenges in all parts of the grocery industry. The goal was to develop an efficient, standardized and sustainable system. Our plastic pallets can therefore be rented by wholesalers and suppliers in the grocery industry.

To rent our plastic pallets you have to fill out and submit a certification form (In Norwegian) (applies to plastic pallets in automation)

How does the return pooling system work?

Our return system works in that way that customers rent our products and the products are in rotation between us and the customers. When you register as a customer, you gain access to our web portal. Here you can easily order the load carriers you need.

The RTIs / load carriers are transported to you from our main warehouse or from the warehouse to a retailer near you. The used and empty RTIs / load carriers that are dirty and damaged are sent back to our warehouse  for washing and any repairs, before they can be returned to the pool and transported to new customers.

How much does it cost to use NLP’s system?

If you would like to use our plastic pallets and crates, you will pay a sender fee (full pallets) or a trip fee (plastic half- and 1/3 pallets) as well as a daily fee. This means that you pay a small sum for each day you have the load carrier standing in your shop or in your warehouse.

How can NLP make my working day easier?

NLP 1/3-plastpallOur load carriers can make you work day easier because we have standardized dimensions that are suitable both for automation and for in-store display. In addition, they help reduce food waste because the goods are well protected during shipping and transport.

Can I use my own transport?

Yes, it is entirely possible for you to use your own transport. Then you pick up crates or pallets yourself, either from us or directly from the retailer. All you have to do is
1) Be a customer
2) Inform NLP about the decision and order the  products you want from the NLP Customer Web
3) pick up the items when they are ready.
You will receive an E-mail with information on where and when.

Are the boxes hygienically clean?

Our plastic boxes are always washed when they arrive at our main warehouse at Langhus, but we do not follow mattilsynet’s (Norwegian Food Safety Authority) hygiene requirements. This means that food must be wrapped in their own packaging before being placed in our plastic boxes.

Can I buy NLP’s products?
