Norsk Lastbærer Pool (NLP) and Svenska Retursystem (SRS) are cooperating on a borderless flow of Plastic full pallets
This means that NLP and SRS Plastic full pallets can be used on deliveries between the countries without extra handling from the suppliers or wholesalers. Both NLP and SRS have seen an increase in the use of Plastic full pallet domestically and there are several suppliers that send their products between Norway and Sweden. This cooperation opens up for these suppliers to use the Plastic full pallet also on deliveries across the border.

NLP and SRS have identical Plastic full pallets and a similar pooling system. The plastic full pallets are branded with the companys respective logos (see picture on the right) Our mutual customers can then use the pooling system to register deliveries on Plastic full pallets. In order for this to work, you must be a customer of  both NLP and SRS.

Customers in Sweden that have deliveries to Norway must be a customer of NLP as well and log on to NLP customerweb to registrer deliveries on Plastic full pallet to the receiver in Norway. The balance of plastic full pallet is handled by SRS, in the SRS customerweb.

Deliveries to Sweden on Plastic full pallet
Customers in Norway that have deliveries to Sweden must be a customer of SRS as well and log on to SRS customerweb to registrer deliveries on Plastic full pallet to the receiver in Sweden. The balance of plastic full pallet is handled by NLP, in the NLP customerweb.

FAQ’s

What does this cooperation between NLP and SRS mean ?
Suppliers who are customers of NLP and SRS can use the Plastic full pallet to deliver their products to the grocery sector in Norway and Sweden.
The wholesalers can receive goods on Plastic full pallets from suppliers serving both countries.

Is there a difference on the plastic pallets?
No, as NLP and SRS share the same producer of these pallets, the Plastic full pallets are identical with the same measurements and friction. The logo is the only difernce, see picture above. The balance of Plastic full pallets will be mixed between the countries but the customer do no need to worry about this or about sorting them.

Are you using RFID in your supplychain?
Those customers using RFID should contact NLP as each pallet is unique with its own serial number, as are the SRS plastic pallets. This will not create any challenges but please contact us about this.

Do we need an agreement with both NLP and SRS?
Yes, in order to send deliveries on Plastic full pallets to either Norway or Sweden one must be a customer of both NLP and SRS. The balance of pallets will be handled by the country you send from.

Can we send all types of plastic pallets or plastic crates?
No, this only covers the Plastic full pallet.

Do we need to report transactions in both countries systems?
Deliveries to Norway are reported in the NLP customerweb.
Deliveries to Sweden are reported in the SRS customerweb.

What are the costs of doing this?
NLP prices apply when registering deliveries to Norway and SRS prices apply when registering deliveries to Sweden. Prices are subject to change and are separat to each country and are not coordinated.
